After sheetroc and before we started painting, we did the trim work. This includes installing doors, shelves, baseboard, casing, window trim, etc. My Dad used to to finish work in his youth, so this was one of the most enjoyable projects (simply because we knew what we were doing!) I learned a ton about how to install all the pieces that give the home that 'finishing' touch.
We chose a sleek flat 4-inch trim accenting the doors and windows. (The baseboard upstairs will be installed after we put in the wood floors).

Believe it or not, I think this is my Mom's favorite room in the house . . . the pantry.
